Sweden And Belarus Avoid Relegation

Germany and Hungary both lost their prestigious Division A status and will drop down a level after coming up short in Naples.

It was certainly tough on Hungary who were not only unlucky not to make it into the Qualifying Round but also lost out in a three way tie with Belarus and Sweden who both survive.

It has certainly been a tough first week in Naples for the Sweden team who failed to win any of their group games and are now battling it out in the Classification round.

Elin Gustavsson came up with 21 points yesterday to help sink Germany and afterwards she kindly took some time out from helping to save the Division A status of her team to talk to FIBA Europe.
